Missing Teddy

Hey guys and gals,

I am going to start off talking about working out. This weekend I slacked. I went for 30 minutes on the weekend. That's not nearly as much as I wanted, but things came up. I was busy this weekend. Friday night I went to a hockey game. We won, no big deal :P Saturday night I went to a formal and danced. I went for a 30 minute workout and I dancing counts as a workout so I got some exercise in.

Monday I went after watching Pretty Little Liars. I was supposed to go swimming, but I didn't feel like it . So I did 3.09 km in 30 minutes, so that’s about 1 km per 10 minutes.

In other news, Friday night my mom called me and told me that our cat, Teddy, has been missing since Thursday. Last night I got a phone call at 11:30 from my mom telling me that she found Teddy. Teddy was under the deck. Our guess is Teddy went under the deck to do her thing in peace. Teddy past away. She was 16-17 years old. I knew it was coming, but I still cried my eyes out. She was around for most of my life. I miss her a lot. She was my baby.

She had a big personality. I don't care what Cavar says, animals have personalities. I remember when our dog died she wondered his kennel outside just sniffing and looking for him. For a week she would barely leave his kennel. It was her way of mourning him. When my dad moved out, she was so mad at him. He would pull into the driveway to pick my sister and I up and she would come visit him, but she wouldn’t look at him. After my sister left for school and I moved in with my dad Teddy just slept on her blanket all day long. Every time I go back home, I get greeted by the dogs outside. I go inside and the first name I call out is Teddy. When both my sister and I came home from school she would come trotting up to us and actually want us to pick her up. She would put her pawls up. She didn't do that to anyone else. Not the Christmas that just pasted, but the one before my sister and I went home and Teddy would got up when we called her and sat with us. My other sister's boyfriend, Tanner said "I have never seen that cat move so much." I thought it was funny.

I know she was just a cat, but she was my cat. She slept at the end of my bed all the time when I was little. I could go on and on about Teddy. I will end with I miss her very much. 17 years is a long time.
P.S. I really enjoy the comments, and keep them coming!

  2. Hi Linda, I am so sorry to hear about Teddy. Wow, she lived for a long time. I remember that pretty little cat. We get so attached to our pets 'cause they are a part of our life growing up and they have that unconditional love to give us. Katie is like that. She is getting old too. It is a sad time for you. hope you feel better soon.
