Minneapolis!!

Hey there folks,

Last night I got back from Minneapolis! For some reason I always thought it was farther then it was. It was only seven hours away with stopping for dinner and gas. I was like :O sweet! It was so much fun. The drive down was so hot, it was so uncomfortable but funny.  By the time we got to the hotel we were all sweating so much! The next day at Valleyfair was crazy! I don't think I have ever sweat that much in my life! We went on all the rides we wanted to go on by 1...I think. During the afternoon we hung out in the water park. It was so nice to get wet! We got a wild west photo too! it was nice to get out of the heat. Oh crap Kaitlyn still has my photo. Oh well. Yesterday we went to the Mall of America!! Yay! I enjoy shopping, but I can only do it for so long. I went to the Mall of America and spent under 90 dollars. Who does that? Only me I guess.

Today Sean and I went to Chippewa zoo. We saw animals local to Canada. It was fun :)

I just noticed I am almost at 2000 views! How exciting! As of right now I have around 1900! I have been slacking hardcore. I am sure once school comes around and I get board in class I will start blogging more. lol. I am not doing news because I am lazy. Leave a comment if you want :)

Lion King!!

Hello,

I watched THE LION KING!! I was on stumbleupon and I stumbled onto a website that had all three Lion King movies mashed into one. The whole thing was like three hours, but I only watched the original Lion King. It was like :O I haven't watched the Lion King in forever!! It was awesome! I think I might watch it tonight without Lion King 1 1/2 in there. Oh the good ol' classic Disney movies, you have to love them. The Jungle Book is another good Disney movie that I love.

I am reading a book right now, I know me reading craziness! I am reading "One Day"  by David Nicholls. It is really good! I would recommend it to people who like reading funny books. I don't know what it is about the book, but it makes me feel like I'm not doing anything with my life. It makes me scared that I will never accomplish what I set out to do. The book is set after they are done school and I am not done yet. I makes me feel like I have to start my life. I don't know if that makes sense. The guy, Dexter, goes travelling. That is what I would like to do. The girl, Emma, works at a crappy part time job. I can totally see my friends getting jobs right away when they are done university. I will be the one who is working at Metro for the rest of my days. I would try my hardest to never let that happen!

I often think about what I want to do after school. Where my schooling will get me. I have many ideas, but none of them seem realistic. I have to start networking on an international level to get the jobs I want. I think to start doing that I'm going to have to start travelling more. Which I would love to do! No problem there. As of right now my plan is:

  • Finish school
  • Take some time to travel in Europe or Australia, but most likely Europe
  • Start applying for jobs in Canada or Europe in my field
  • Get a job in my field and live well.
I think the last point is on everyone's plan.  On top of my professional goals I would like to be married and have kids by the time I am 30. Is that to much to ask? hmmm something to think about. I have lots to think about. Well right now I have lots of time to think about stuff like this. hmm Well I want to read more so I'm going to head over to the news room. lol haha I crack myself up. I'm so funny. No, not really.

NEWS:

New York City had plans for a greener city, but the plans were cut. Just after the plan was launched the financial crisis hit New York hard. The program has been altered due to budget cuts in city, state and federal departments.  New York's mayor wants taxi companies to replace their old fords with more fuel efficient vehicles.

That is all for tonight. I will try and do another blog tomorrow. Leave a comment as usual.

Trip to Minneapolis!!

Hello!

I am excited to be going to Minneapolis next week!! I can't wait!! It has been forever since I went shopping at the mall of America and Valleyfair! It shall be very fun. I can't wait for Valleyfair! I just hope we can find a car to get down there with. That is sort of important.  We booked the room, which I'm thinking that we should have waited to do now. It must have been the fact that we finally found one that let us book there. Ugh Americans and everything  being 21.

I went shopping for the first time today, in a long time! Since I have been home I have been to the mall three times including today. I actually was shopping, not just looking but shopping! It has been so long. I went shopping for a dress for some weddings I have this summer. I didn't have much luck at the mall but the Superstore had two good options. I will have to go back later this week and pick one up. I wedding is this Saturday so I better boggie.

News:

Canada is boycotting UN body over North Korea. Canada's foreign affairs minister John Baird announced that Canada is boycotting North Korea's chairmanship in the UN because it undermines the integrity of the UN and Canada will not stand for that. Rightfully so! I stand behind the UN one most of their decisions, but the world does not want North Korea in any state of power considering who their leader is and what he might be up to.

Sorry this is a short one. I am lazy and there is nothing that I really feel like talking about tonight.

I am Slacking..week off of Facebook

Hey folks,

Well it has been over 10 days. I am slacking hard core! I don't know what to talk about today. Hmm. Oh I took a full seven days off of Facebook.  I copied Sean, but I actually did it. lmao! I sent an article to Facebook and Twitter, but Abbytard and Sean thought that was cheating. I wasn't signed into Facebook, but those two were just upset that I wasn't on Facebook.

My polls are lacking in voting. My sister doesn't even vote! She is a jerk. I asked "what was your favourite fruit?" Banana won with 66%, berries came in second with 33%. I also asked what month your birthday was in. June, July, August and November all had one vote. This "weeks" poll will be.... about musicals! I'm watching Rent right now.

I have 930 airmiles, which gets me nothing.  I don't shop enough to get loads of airmiles. I get most of them from my dad and Karina. The only time I get them is when I go to Boston Pizza, the Shell, the Shoe Company or my Hbc card I am hoping when I turn 19 and I can buy my own booze I will get some miles from the LCBO. I might also get some from Metro when I go away for school.
