I watched THE LION KING!! I was on stumbleupon and I stumbled onto a website that had all three Lion King movies mashed into one. The whole thing was like three hours, but I only watched the original Lion King. It was like :O I haven't watched the Lion King in forever!! It was awesome! I think I might watch it tonight without Lion King 1 1/2 in there. Oh the good ol' classic Disney movies, you have to love them. The Jungle Book is another good Disney movie that I love.
I am reading a book right now, I know me reading craziness! I am reading "One Day" by David Nicholls. It is really good! I would recommend it to people who like reading funny books. I don't know what it is about the book, but it makes me feel like I'm not doing anything with my life. It makes me scared that I will never accomplish what I set out to do. The book is set after they are done school and I am not done yet. I makes me feel like I have to start my life. I don't know if that makes sense. The guy, Dexter, goes travelling. That is what I would like to do. The girl, Emma, works at a crappy part time job. I can totally see my friends getting jobs right away when they are done university. I will be the one who is working at Metro for the rest of my days. I would try my hardest to never let that happen!
I often think about what I want to do after school. Where my schooling will get me. I have many ideas, but none of them seem realistic. I have to start networking on an international level to get the jobs I want. I think to start doing that I'm going to have to start travelling more. Which I would love to do! No problem there. As of right now my plan is:
- Finish school
- Take some time to travel in Europe or Australia, but most likely Europe
- Start applying for jobs in Canada or Europe in my field
- Get a job in my field and live well.
I think the last point is on everyone's plan. On top of my professional goals I would like to be married and have kids by the time I am 30. Is that to much to ask? hmmm something to think about. I have lots to think about. Well right now I have lots of time to think about stuff like this. hmm Well I want to read more so I'm going to head over to the news room. lol haha I crack myself up. I'm so funny. No, not really.
NEWS:
New York City had plans for a greener city, but the plans were cut. Just after the plan was launched the financial crisis hit New York hard. The program has been altered due to budget cuts in city, state and federal departments. New York's mayor wants taxi companies to replace their old fords with more fuel efficient vehicles.
That is all for tonight. I will try and do another blog tomorrow. Leave a comment as usual.
