Pants Around the Knees ;)

Hey there folks,

Sorry I didn't do a Friday post. Well I'm sure you didn't even notice. What did I do Friday? Oh Right!

I took Maude, Audrey, Caroline, Bo and Abbytard to Bingo! We didn't win anything but it was really fun. We were the youngest people there! It was hilarious!  When we were on our way to the bingo we wait for a bus for I don't know long, maybe 20 minutes. We got on and it was like the second stop.  On the way home after 2 hours of bingo, we walked to the bus stop only to see the bus coming! We all booted it down the road! It was really funny. When we got back to res Bo, Maude and I played cards and watch Thriller. Bo had never heard the song before! :O how shocking!!

Well since today is Saturday, I might as well tell you what I did today. I went shopping and went to Twiggs.  I am not that exciting. I don't know why I always post about what I do. I am really lame. What college students go to bingo on a Friday night? I do.

Today I was on the bus, and I saw this cute old man get off the bus. It got me thinking about what the guys my age will look like when they are old men. I wonder if they will still wear those stupid gangster shit. Imagine if they dressed the same. Haha this old guy walking down the street with his pants at his knees. Oh so sexy! I don't know about you but an old man with pants around his knees.  ugh. I hate when guys have their pants around their knees. Do they think they look good? Personally I think the look like slobs and wanna bes but what do I know.

So many times I have thought I was born in the wrong time. I am so old fashion sometimes. I think I was born during the Greeks, the Romans and during the world wars. I have such a fascination with those time periods. I don't know why but I do. It would make so much sense.

News for the day.

Gbagbo is the president of the Ivory Coast but the UN recognizes Alassane Ouattara as the president of the Ivory Coast. The UN thinks that Gbagbo rigged the elections and that Alassane Ouattara is the rightful president. The UN has insisted that Gbagbo be arrested, judged and tried for crimes against humanity during his term and since the election of Ouattara.

Trouble in the Ivory Coast Timeline:

  • 28 Nov 2010: Incumbent Laurent Gbagbo and challenger Alassane Ouattara in election run-off
  • 2 Dec: Electoral commission announces that Ouattara won 54% of vote
  • 3 Dec: Constitutional Council declaring Gbagbo the winner; UN says Ouattara was victor
  • 30 Mar 2011: Pro-Ouattara forces enter the capital, Yamoussoukro
  • 4 Apr: UN launches air strikes on Gbagbo in main city, Abidjan
  • 5 Apr: Three generals negotiate Gbagbo's surrender
  • 6 Apr: Gbagbo denies he is ready to leave

That's all for this Saturday here on res. Leave a comment  :)
